5 minutes walk from Tai Seng MRT. Long story short I replaced my old laptop wifi card but messed up the installation as I forced the antennae pin onto the card itself and found this laptop repair shop to replace my laptop wifi card.
Walked in at around 5.30pm, expected it'll take 2 days repair as I came on Tuesday and they close every Wednesday but service was fast and it was done in an hour.
Great service (didn't get his name) and my laptop can connect to wifi and bluetooth! Superb!

Great location. About 5 minutes walk from Tai Seng MRT. Plenty of street parking around the building but if not available, there's ample paid parking withiin the building compound. Counter stuff was efficient and professional. Sent in a Macbook Pro for a battery change and it was ready in 48hrs. Cost appears to be quite reasonable.

This has been an awesome experience. Ming from Volta has been extremely responsive and to the point, about what can or cannot be done (Unfortunately my laptop truly died with a burnt mainboard, and will cost more than buying a new laptop should i want to force a repair). Assessment was quick, and Company does not hardsell and does not charge any assessment fee if no repair is proceeded with. They managed to recover my data for a nominal fee which i was more than glad to proceed with. Backup/SDD transfer took just about 1 hour. Dont hesitate, just call them.

Had a Aftershock laptop which is 6 years old with screen issues, brought it to Aftershock but they were unable to do anything about it as they don't carry this model anymore. Brought it to Volta and voila, they completed the screen replacement for me on the same day that I left my laptop over. Replacement was completed neatly and professionally with no damages to the laptop or any sort.
Will definitely recommend to have your laptop check and/or fixed at Volta.

Had PC freezing issue for my custom built PC for a long time, unable to do self diagnosis, decided to give it a try and send to Volta PC. They are very professional and able to correctly diagnose the CPU was faulty. They also carry some ready stocks for parts that are faulty to replace, if not, they can help you to order from supplier and give you a quote, so it's one-stop shop for easy of mind. Horrible service, Don't fix at Volta! The touch bar does not properly light up even after they claimed to have fixed. And the touch pad is also not functioning properly. Do not go to this scamming Volta store to fix. Also this stupid ugly employee is extremely rude and kept interrupting when I was trying to explaining to that idiot. I have issues with my laptop screen. Found a laptop repair shop near me (best laptop repair shop!) and my laptop screen replacement was repair very quickly. Communication is very prompt and the techinican ( Sorry, I didn't get his name ) is very patient in answering my question They diagnose very fast and Price is reasonable too. Upon clear communication via WhatsApp to clarify part's arrival date and cost, I visited their Taiseng branch.
They helped replacing my laptop's bloated battery, noted that my laptop has stripped screws issue at the back panel, and yet they complete the repair super fast!! I sent my laptop for repair on the mainboard on a Sunday morning. They mentioned that repair would take 10 - 14 working days for the repair of my laptop's mainboard due to the availability of the spare parts. But I was surprised that they took around 3 days to complete the repair as well and they also notified me that my other parts laptop was deteriorating and recommended for replacement (depending individual). Overall, it is a very good experience and the repair is very satisfied which worth the cost of repair.

I think this is by far one of the best repair shop i've encountered. I went in for a fault diagnosis and they were able to pinpoint the defective part within 15mins.

Excellent service-Contacted prior via WhatsApp & able to offer a reasonable quotation and timeframe for repair if necessary. Fast response and when I came down, staff assisted with diagnostics on the spot and advised me on how to prevent similar issues in future. As my laptop had issues, i brought it to the official service centre (in the same building) and was quoted $1000 for a motherboard replacement, and charged $60 for a (inaccurate) diagnosis. Looking for a second opinion, i brought the device to them.
Volta PC’s diagnosis is free, and they repaired my device for a fraction of the price! Communication with them was also pleasant.

I had bring my MacBook Pro to repair, i thought the screen was broken because my screen suddenly become black. But actually it is the display blacklight problem after they checked.(after that i browsed the website and found that apple have repair program for this problem, for those under warranty, because it is caused by defect of macbook design, but my warranty already expired two year ago..) The technician tell me what will happen if i partly repair or fully replace it, at the end i decided not to repair as technician suggestion (the cost is too high if repair).
Technician after that take some time to show me how to use my MBP to connect external display, so that i still can use my MBP without repair it. Really appreciate it, will recommend it to everyone who need to repair their computer 👍👍👍

Sent my custom pc which had blue screen of death in January. Diagnosis with gpu issue, as gpu under warranty they act as middle man to send to distributor.
One month after it was sent back from distributor and repaired , blue screen happened again while I was using it.
In this case, I had to send it back to them to get it diagnosed again which is fine but I will be charged again
As a customer what we want is that our problems are resolved once, and now I have to face the same problem after sending it to repair doesn't sound right to me

There was a "bcrypt.dll is missing" system error in my laptop every time i tried to open installed apps. Budget PC gave me a free diagnosis and helped me to wipe my computer as well as reinstall Windows 10. Also pre-installed a security software to prevent any future viruses, gave me 1 year warranty and got it done in the span of 1 day! Super happy with the service and professionalism. I have never given bad reviews. If work is bad and if I can still manage, I will just not review. But this is my first bad review.
I came for laptop hinge repair. Hinge was so badly done that the laptop screen did not even stand steadily it just keep falling off.
I took the laptop to another Laptop service shop to fix it, they fixed it and this is what they had to say,
" I found that some of the nuts that sit in plastic in the base of your laptop that hold the hinges are broken and as such your hinges are lose and not holding properly. This can lead to your screen breaking. (See pictures of the broken parts, and also after I have repaired them). I use special 2 component compound to fix this. It is extra strong and should hold for some time. I usually charge $80 for this but as your laptop is already open, I just charged for the materials used. I also noticed that your hinges are very loose and the screen collapses almost on its own weight. So have fixed this also for you, such that screen moves a little tougher now and doesn't fall on its own weight."
One screw is not fixed. the hinge is still broken inside.

I came in with a unwarranted desktop PC that was having problems. They stress tested it for two days straight but couldn't find any problems. However, instead of charging me for the diagnostic or changing a part randomly, they didn't charge me for it. They are a decent sort and deserve your buisness. Utter rubbish. Sent my Legion there for repair because of water spillage, came back with windows virus? Updated me that they will ship the parts and replace the keyboard. Apparently the keyboard still does not work and paid just for factory reset of computer. Very bad service, said to take 10-15 days, took nearly 2 and a half months. Rubbish.

I thought it was a sketchy company at first, but when I sent in my ASUS ROG, the person was nice and explained to me the prices... I was quite shocked when the final price was lower than their expected price and it is the cheapest among the other repair services. guy there is inexperienced and does not have enough laptop product knowledge. Tried to trade in my laptop there and was told my laptop motherboard was spoilt since the laptop can be on. became lower when it was holding the laptop However my laptop was working perfectly fine, I explained and showed to him that this was a function of laptop keyboard attention- aware feature - which was switched on and could easily be switched off. But he called his technician who also insisted that it was because my laptop was spoilt hence I sold my laptop to another shop instead who was aware of the laptop feature and had no problem with it. I am extremely surprised that both the guys and technician were not aware of such an laptop feature since they are in the business of trading laptpops... they have alot fake review........ all by friends... please take note this shop

Was given an estimated cost range of $150-$180 to replace my laptop battery but was eventually quoted $135 when he checked my laptop's battery type. After paying, the battery arrived within the day itself and I was given 1 month to go down and get my battery changed. Battery changing process was quick and took around 15 mins (he even cleaned the super dusty interior of my laptop haha). Will definitely come here again for future repairing needs! 🙂

Very expensive. Quoted me $55 just for removing the back cover of my laptop, and then closing it back ... after I exchange/upgrade my own battery, wifi card and ram myself. No thank you.
Context is I don't have the right computer tools ($2+) to pry open the back cover safely without breaking the small hooks. This can be done in less than two minutes since you IT repair guys pry them open so often easily. It's a rip off to charge $55.

Cost $290+ to replace the SSD on my laptop. Ken was more than willing to answer any questions I had about SSDs, HDDs, and even other things unrelated to the problem at hand like picking the correct generation of CPUs if I'm going to upgrade my desktop.
Learned a bit about the heat problems with faster HDDs and SSDs, and also how I should optimise using my C and D drives. Overall pretty pleasant experience, would go again.
Oh, and re: servicing time, my repair job took 1.5 working days, but Ken said that that was because the SSD getting heat damage was indeed the only problem my laptop had. Would've taken longer if it had run into other problems as he ran tests.

Got the quote via google chat and ask for the parts availability. Was informed via whatsapp that the part is available and go to the Jurong branch to do battery replacement for my laptop. Waited around 10minutes because there is someone in the store (only 1 customer allowed at a time). Got my battery replaced in less than 10 minutes, for 195$ (6 months warranty). Not cheap, but worth it. So far battery works well.

Expensive but got my requests done. The thing I'm very upset about is the unnecessary need to enable my touchpad on my laptop. I requested for the disability of my laptop keyboard and since that's disabled my touchpad can't be disabled via the keyboard. On the day I got back my laptop i asked why my touchpad is enabled and the employee there told me that I didn't tell him to disable it. I asked them not to enable it on the day i sent. They said they needed to enable it to check the laptop's functionality and would disable it later but never did. Overall I'm upset at the pricing and the service provided.

I am a satisfied customer! My late 2015 year old MBP 13's battery started bloating and initially went to QCD after I saw that the approximate cost of battery replacement is $288 from Apple's website. However, I was quoted a minimum cost of $650 (including technician's fee). I decided not to go with it and found Budget PC online. They offered free pickup and delivery for my laptop at a much lower price than the quotation I received from QCD. Here I am using my MBP confidently again.
If there's anything that could be improved in their service, it is an advanced notice that they need to be able to login into the system for certain repairs. When the person picking it up asked for the admin password, I had to scramble to delete important personal files and login sessions from my browser.

Understand their customer very well. Explain the problem and the charges based on the explanation. Gets confirmation on whatsup prior to proceeding on finding . Provide us option as name suggests budgets PC upgrade & repair . Perfect for anyone to come and repair their system here . The only disadvantage could be the time period to repair your system. Else number one service center. Hope they keep giving the same experience at other locations too.

Efficient, Friendly and Affordable
I interacted with two different employees and both were extraordinarily kind and helpful, answering all my questions patiently and even voluntarily giving me helpful info. Not keen to reply my questions and slow with 1 reply every 15 mins. They used to have better customer service 6-12 months ago when i brought in my PC and laptop for repair. Now it's better to find someone else to do the job, someone who is more hungry and better service orientated.

Extremely fast service. Sent in for diagnostic on Thursday evening and got results by the next Monday’s afternoon. Sent in my requests and they finished it and my PC was ready for collection in a few hours. Very pleased with their service and efficiency. Staff entertained all my questions and explained them to me.

Visited Jurong Branch. Staff is helpful and responsive. Despite CB and influx of orders, repair is still completed reasonably quick. NO repair NO charges, and no hidden cost as communicated. Recommended, although pricing is slightly steeper than some other vendor found online, tested and felt worth the premium. Keep up the standards!

Efficient in replying and repairing my laptop with a corrupted Windows software. Sent in my laptop and received the diagnosis 1 day later. The next day, I received the message that it was repaired and ready for collection. The repair fees were also reasonable. Would definitely engage Budget PC again for computer repair issues.

My laptop suddenly crashed on me and I found Budget PC through Google and decided to give it a try. They arranged the pick up and informed me my windows were corrupted with a bloated battery. They told me what can be done and very professional about it, most importantly, they are not pushy at all. My laptop was fixed and delivered back to me in 3 days, they also provided 1 year warranty for their service done and the price was very reasonable considering they collect and deliver to your house w/o extra charge (unless after office hours). - On Sun I picked it up, was served by Jaycee (not sure of spelling), he was nice and offered to help reinstall my Microsoft Office, since I did not have the key he told me I could go back anytime and he will help me without charge.
- On Tue my laptop couldn't be switched on.
- On Thur went to the shop and was served by Jason. He managed to fix the issue. I asked if he could help with reinstalling my M Office, he said he will need to charge me $85. I said what if I do it myself and he can just watch me to make sure I do it right. He said he still needed to charge me $85. Which I take to mean he is not willing to help. Jason wasn't overly rude, he will do Just Enough and not a millimeter more. FYI there was no other customer during the conversation.

I have made a phone call to enquire on the repair of my CPU and was informed that they require 3 days to diagnose the issue. To my suprise, I was able to resolve my issue on the day I brought my CPU down. The staff, Ken, is really friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Already read about Budget PC online as one of the top PC repair shops in Singapore so when my PC conked out on Friday afternoon, they were top-of-mind. Past reviews were not lying when they mentioned that their service levels were excellent. Here's a rundown of my experience:
Friday:
- Late afternoon 6yo PC froze, got blue screen of death then proceeded to go on a restart loop
- Budget PC whatsapp gave an initial analysis base on my description of the problem - likely motherboard issue
- They provided step-by-step guide on how they will go about the diagnosis and repair
- Picked up the PC evening, FOC
Saturday:
- Gave diagnosis on what's wrong -- SSD faulty, PSU faulty,
- Gave breakdown of costs -- new SSD, new PSU, service, optional data recovery, proceed (Y/N)
- Proceeded, finished, ready for delivery by Sunday
TL;DR: Service was fast, professional, and transparent. FOC pickup (new customer) and delivery. Reasonable costs lives up to its name. Even cleaned up my PC interior and fans. 5/5 would repair again

First time engaging Budgetpcupgraderepairs and they promptly gave me a quotation to repair my faulty laptop keyboard and came over to pick it up. They then did a free diagnostics and I ended up upgrading my Windows operating system and and change my hard disk to SSD as well. They did a very good job with the repairs and upgrade. The counter staff were very friendly and patient. The staff patiently took a look at my laptop and also explained to me about the cost and lead time needed for the ram upgrade. The required ram was not in stock at marsiling branch, only in stock at taiseng branch but the staff on whatsapp kindly offered to deliver it to marsiling so that i can just head to marsiling branch at my convenience without travelling. The whatsapp service was very responsive too. When the ram upgrade was done, the staff also let me check the laptop before payment. Overall I am very happy with the ram upgrade service. Thank you

Did not have a good start from the tele-conversation however it turned out to be an awesome experience when I decided to give it a try. Mr Mike at Tai Seng branch patiently explained details of the possible damages, cost and duration of repairs. Although 5 days for diagnosing was a little longer than expected, they make up with a good 1 day repair after I confirmed with repair n replacement of battery. Not only did Mr Alvin delivered my laptop on time, he patiently showed and waited for me to test my laptop. He even gave advised on how to prolong battery life. Friendly & helpful and even though my took quite some time as my Macbook model they do not have ready stock, so need to order parts. After about 2 Weeks+ finally got a message from them its ready for collection, but during the day i went down to collect and checked, my spoken is not fixed but was told that its already fixed, so waited for about another week+ to have the speaker fixed, this time i asked them to delivered back to me no cost. Very professional and helpful but they should really check carefully first before returning to customer! Took sometime to get it fixed, it's worth it to wait for people who are not urgently need it as Apple i don't think it will be this pricing, i would have given full 5 star if first time its fixed all my issue, but still i recommend them will use their services again!

The company was able to pick up my faulty desktop, one day after I reported it to them. There was also no transportation charges incurred. The company was fairly responsive amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and reasonably friendly to my frequent questions.
However, their selection of replacement hardware was slightly expensive and I chose to purchase one of them from a separate store. The company was able to install it for me without a fuss. Once the repair was done, they delivered my desktop with no transportation charges incurred.
Overall, I am satisfied with their work and might use their services again.

Communicative, helpful and even though my laptop couldn’t be repaired (essentially had to replace half the laptop and the cost was too high for an old laptop), they picked up and sent it back to me at no cost. Very professional and helpful! Will definitely use their services again!

Laptop suffered from BSOD and couldn't complete Windows 10 installation. Whatsapped Budget PC Upgrade & Repair during an SG Public Holiday and they replied. They also explained to me their services and arranged for a delivery pickup which is free of charge. This is extremely important especially during COVID-19 Circuit Breaker in SG and it was fuss free. Diagnostic test was done promptly and was advised on the issues and solutions. After which they arranged delivery back to my doorstep, all within a week in working condition. Great job!

I had my Asus laptop repair done at Budget PC. I am very happy with the service provided. They gave very clear information about the repair process. Collected laptop from my home and within 2 days came back with diagnosis and cost for repair. The repair was done within two days and it was delivered back to me.

They provide valuable IT service during this circuit breaker period. They also provide free delivery service as well. Turnaround time is very fast for my case due to Power supply unit problem. My desktop was pick up on Thurs noon and by Sat noon i got it back in working condition. I would certainly recommended them for their service quality, professionalusm and expertise. Repair cost is also reasonable.

I'm can't express how impressed by the great customer service and not to mention poise and politeness I've experienced from the young gentlemen manning the storefront. The dude Kelsey needs a raise! And let me let you why: I'd just come from the so-called 'Doctor IT' located at loyang point and was told my desktop PC had a unrepairable motherboard. Not only did their front desk staff fail to display a smidge of professionalism that my man Kelsey did, they charged me for a diagnosis that was instantly proven wrong by Kelsey. The Tampines outlet has guaranteed my patronage!

Clement of Budget PC Repair Tampines is extremely friendly and helpful. I had him diagnosed my custom PC twice and he didn't even charge me for his time. The first time, he found a problem with a RAM module and because I could not wait, I took my PC home and replaced the RAM on my own. The second time, when I had the same problem recurring, he stress-tested my PC for 2 days before letting me know that he cannot find any issues. Again, he didn't charged me as he did not do any repair. When I took the PC home, I finally found the problem was not in the PC but somewhere else. Nevertheless, if any of my PCs really require repair, you can be sure that Budget PC Repair will be at the top of my list. Thank you, Clement, you're awesome!

I was extremely disappointed when I chose to go to another shop nearby to rectify my MAC - which died on me. Feeling lost, I decided to try Budget PC which opened much later. Lien was reassuring and calmly attended to my situation. Updates were shared on WA and he kept me updated along the way. Collected my MAC the next day with all my files in tact. Lien even assisted to install some softwares for me and shared some safety hacks. His service was not a transaction but more of a connected service. I will highly recommend Budget PC and Lien, as he is a true example of what we need from each other during this trying times. Price is also reasonable! Cheers!

Went last Saturday in the afternoon at Tampines shop to repair my laptop. Based on the working days its 3 to 4 days. But suprisingly they called me the day after I send my laptop. They told me that my laptop is repaired and ready to collect. Very friendly and responsive to costumer. Will recommend to my friends for laptop repair.

The hinged of my laptop broke and it was coming off in like pieces. I contacted them on Friday night and they responded quickly. I went to the shop the next day and to my surprise they were able to fixed my laptop in a day! Just in time for my exams.Will go to them again in future if I have more problems with laptop 😊 and the price is really reasonable.

I saw many good reviews about the place and decided to give it a try. Overall, it was a good experience! The staff is very friendly and informative about my laptop issues and even have advice on how to prevent the same thing from happening. The pricing was affordable (with warranty) and it took only a day to fix my laptop. Quick and quality service. Their branches are also located nearby mrt station which makes it very convenient. Definitely would recommend!
